Megahira Ski Trip
Join Outdoor Recreation for a trip to Hiroshima’s most popular ski destination, Megahira Ski Resort! This resort features 8 runs of varying difficulty, with the longest course stretching 2,300 meters. Cafes and restaurants along the slopes create a lively ski-town atmosphere.
Trip Details:
- Departure: Bldg. 1010 at 7:00 AM
- Return: Approximately 7:30 PM
- Cost: $30 for adults, $25 for children ages 11 and under (does NOT include lift ticket)
- Lift tickets: Purchased at the ski area upon arrival
Equipment Reservations: Visit Outdoor Rec Gear Issue to reserve your ski or snowboard equipment on Tuesday, December 16, or Wednesday, December 17.
CASI Snowboard Class
Cost per person: $15
Learn snowboarding with certified Canadian Snowboarding Association instructors! This class is perfect for beginners and takes place during the ski trip. Instruction lasts about half a day using the CASI Quick Ride system.
Instruction Includes:
- Basics
- Sliding
- Control
- Turning and linking
Space is limited, so sign up early at the Outdoor Recreation office.
Registration
Registration is available at Outdoor Recreation until December 19.
