Kadena Elementary School Field Day - Volunteer Opportunity

Kadena Elementary School is seeking 50 volunteers to help with its Field Day on Friday, 8 May, 0800–1200. Volunteers will help set up, run stations, play games, and clean up. Lunch will be provided. LOAs will be provided.

Field Day Schedule Overview

Sessions

• Session 1: 9:15 AM – 11:15 AM
• Session 2: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Station Rotations

• 3 stations per session (one per grade level)
• Station 1: Gym / grassy area outside the gym
• Station 2: Blacktop behind the gym
• Station 3: Large grassy field (beside the water station)
• Duration per station: 35 minutes
• Grade levels: 3 per session, rotating through all stations

Student Participation

• Students will work in assigned partner groups for safety and accountability.
• Partners may compete against each other in relay games.
• Students may choose activities at their station as available.
• Stations may experience varying attendance levels depending on student interest.
• Encourage students to participate and try each activity.

Logistics

• Lunch: 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM (provided by PTO)
• Volunteer hours: 0800–1500 (please plan to stay for the full day)
• Parking: School parking lot; if full, use Rocker NCO parking lot
• Arrival: Sign in on the gym computer upon arrival, then check in with your station leader for setup instructions

Additional Information

• Water will be available at each station.
• Wear sunscreen and bring water as needed.
• Dress: Comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.
• Leave No One Behind (LOA) forms will be provided.
• Bring good energy—it's going to be a great day!
