Volunteer Opportunity: Southwestern Christian School – Annual Thanksgiving Feast

Each year, we host our annual Thanksgiving feast to bring together students, families, and faculty in celebration of the season of gratitude. Events like these help foster faith, community, and academic excellence.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
20 volunteers.

TASK(S)
Each volunteer will be tasked to serve food to our students and their families at our annual Thanksgiving feast! We will have two serving lines, with about eight stations in each line. The other volunteers who are not serving will be asked to assist with checking in the families, collecting meal tickets, and passing out the plates and cutlery to each guest. There may be miscellaneous tasks that arise during the event.

This volunteer opportunity is open to service members. Volunteers are responsible for requesting an LOA and providing the POC with their name, rank, and contact information upon registering to volunteer so that an LOA can be provided.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Volunteers to arrive at 8:30am.
• Volunteers will be provided coffee and donuts when they arrive. Each volunteer will also receive a free Thanksgiving meal, as well as unlimited refreshments, and lastly, each volunteer will receive their LOA upon completion of their volunteer hours.
