Mt. Daisen Hiking Trip

Mount Daisen is a dormant stratovolcano in Tottori Prefecture, the highest mountain in the Chugoku region. It has an elevation of 1,729 meters.  This route takes you through one of the largest beech forests in western Japan to the mountain's summit, where magnificent views overlook the Sea of Japan.

The bus departs from in front of the Outdoor Recreation office at 4 AM and will return around 10 PM.

Registration is available at Outdoor Recreation until October 23.
