Before going to the festival, we wil visit Sear Kogen Farm. A rose garden blooms in the lush nature of Sera Kogen Farm, close to the sky. Fragrant and elegant English roses and seasonal perennials sway in the breeze, offering a deeply fulfilling moment.

The Mibu no Hana Taue festival is held on the first Sunday of June, and it was registered as a UNESCO "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" in 2011.

Oxen are adorned with decorations and accessories, then they plow a paddy field. Afterwards, many "Saotome" (rice-planting women) move in a long horizontal line to plant the rice seedlings in the rice field while singing songs with the leader accompanied by Japanese drums and flutes.
