PADI Emergency First Response Instructor Course
About the Course:
The Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor course prepares you to teach CPR and first aid skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines. Through a combination of independent study and practical training, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to teach others how to respond in emergency situations.
EFR Instructor eLearning allows you to complete the academic portion of the course at your own pace before attending class. The online program includes nine interactive knowledge development sections designed to maximize hands-on training time with your EFR Instructor Trainer.
As an EFR Instructor, you can teach emergency care skills to both divers and non-divers. These courses are designed to create a comfortable learning environment where students build confidence through practical application and realistic scenarios.
Course Tuition: $455
Registration Deadline: January 15
Student Requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years old and have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the previous 24 months. Students should complete all required eLearning modules before attending the practical training sessions.
Required eLearning: Completion of the EFR Instructor eLearning program is required prior to the first day of practical training. The eLearning includes nine interactive knowledge development sections and knowledge reviews that prepare students for hands-on training with an EFR Instructor Trainer.
Certification Information: An EFR Instructor rating is required for individuals pursuing a PADI Instructor certification. However, you do not need to be enrolled in a professional-level PADI course to complete EFR Instructor training. Many candidates choose to complete or refresh this certification before beginning an Instructor Development Course (IDC).
