New Parent Support

Virtual Visits

New Parent Support services are available to all active duty service members and families who are expecting a child or have at least one child age 5 or under.

Service include but are not limited to:

• Age appropriate discipline
• Age appropriate play
• Effective communication
• Stress management
• Nutrition
• Deployment
• Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
• Newborn care
• Sibling rivalry
• Toilet training

Developmental Screening

New Parent Support offers a virtual developmental screening for children 1 month to 5 years of age. Assessments will include:

• Communication
• Motor Skills
• Problem Solving
• Social Development
• Emotional Development

Infant Massage

New Parent Support offers free individual infant massage classes.

Infant massage is a wonderful and nurturing way to connect, communicate, and bond with your infant. Learn about the power of touch in bonding with your baby, and the benefits of massage for your baby’s circulation, digestion, and emotional well-being.

Cooperative Parenting

New Parent Support offers an 8-week individual course that teaches effective co-parenting skills for single, separated, and/or divorced parents. All classes must be completed in order to receive a certificate of completion.
